What is the Business Intelligence Department?

The BI department is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to inform business decisions and strategy by providing timely and accurate information. This includes collecting and analyzing data from various sources, creating reports and dashboards, and using data visualization tools to help stakeholders understand complex information.

What you’ll do?

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Power BI) to provide actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Utilize advanced analytics techniques, including statistical analysis, trend forecasting, and predictive modeling, to enhance data insights.
• Extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple complex sources (databases, APIs, third-party systems) to generate insights that drive strategic decision-making.
• Assist in backend data processes, including data modeling, integration, ETL pipeline development, and automation, ensuring data quality and reliability.
• Create and monitor trackers and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure performance and identify trends.
• Optimize query performance and validate data accuracy to ensure consistency and reliability across reporting systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop data-driven solutions.
• Ensure data governance and security best practices are followed in all reporting and analysis processes.
• Support strategic initiatives by providing data-driven recommendations and performance assessments.
• Document data processes, methodologies, and best practices to enhance knowledge sharing and ensure consistency.

Your Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Data Analysis.

Skills/Attributes:

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
• Ability to analyze complex datasets and translate findings into actionable business insights.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with ETL tools (e.g., SSIS, Alteryx, Python-based ETL processes) is highly preferred.
• Expertise in Power BI, advanced Excel , and PowerPoint for developing reports and presentations.
• Excellent data visualization, reporting, and storytelling skills to engage senior executives and cross-functional teams.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and engaging with stakeholders across departments.
• Proactive and self-motivated, demonstrating ownership and accountability for delivering high-quality results. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated creativity and the ability to think outside the box.
• Agility in adapting to changing priorities and business needs.
